Hi, Ive been using the site for some weeks and have now registered. I’ve never been too internet savvy, and my attempts to start a new topic in the forums for a final crisis reading order failed. So, I hope this helps someone.

SEVEN SOLDIERS: MISTER MIRACLE #1-4 (Mr. Miracle series introduces certain concepts of FC even though released during Infinite Crisis)

    Batman RIP (don’t read 682-3)
DC Universe 0 (in RIP, a better prelude than Countdown)
Final Crisis #1 in FINAL CRISIS TPB (FC 1-7, Submit, Superman Beyond)
Final Crisis: Requiem #1 in FC COMPANION w/ Requiem, Resist, Secret Files)
    Final Crisis #2
    Final Crisis: Rogues’ Revenge TPB
    Final Crisis #3
    Final Crisis: Superman Beyond #1-2
Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds TPB
    Final Crisis: Revelations TPB
    Final Crisis: Resist #1
    Final Crisis: Submit #1
    Final Crisis #4-5
    Final Crisis: Secret Files #1
    Batman #682-683 (RIP)
    Final Crisis #6-7

I know some people read Batman 682-683 before Final Crisis 5 because FC5 ruins the surprise. And I’ve seen one reading list that switches Rogues’ Revenge and Requiem, putting Revenge after FC1 and Requiem after FC2. When I start reading I’ll see how it goes.

Ultimately, you only really need the Final Crisis TPB and Batman RIP. The Companions and three miniseries (Legion, Revelations, Rogues’) are more about what’s going on with certain heroes during Final Crisis.

Glad to hear you’re trying out the registration! Sorry to hear the forum doesn’t seem to be working for you, though.

I think that the “Add a New Topic” text is a little confusing, because it doesn’t seem to be a working link. It isn’t a link really, because the new forum posting field is already open right before it. For example, when you go to

    http://www.tradereadingorder.com/forum/comic-issue-reading-orders/

and scroll down, there’s a place to enter a subject and text for your new topic already open towards the bottom.

Anyway, for this, it’s ok that you weren’t able to add to the forum directly, because I’ll do something a little better for you – post it straight to the blog with a linked forum topic. I’ll switch up the formatting a bit, and change the TPB designations to their included issues (since it would be posted under comic issue reading order) and then it will be posted under your user name. Any comments should be emailed to you and if you have any future changes to make just post it in that forum or comment thread and I’ll edit them in. Sound good? :D

Alright, your reading order is up on the homepage and in the forums now. Hope it looks good to you!

Let me know (my email is ian@tradereadingorder.com or you can just comment again here) if you need any help figuring out any aspect of the site. Now that you’re registered, you should be able to add books to your collection. So you could try adding any you are interested in (like your reading list from identity to final crisis) and see how the site sorts them under your profile. Or just add the ones you own, etc.

We’ll hopefully be getting marvel up within the next month or so, I’m terribly sorry it’s taken so long. It’s a big universe!

WOW! I took a peak at the forum and it looks great! Your changes made it very sleek and clean. Im reading RIP and FC now. When I have money, I’ll check out the companion and tie-in miniseries. Keep up the great work. I’m reading backwards, so now that I’ve pegged FC for now, I’ve been researching infinite crisis while reading FC. Infinite is even more comprehensive.

Glad you like it! Your second list is up now. Thanks for the contributions. I’ve been a little slow on the updating while working on stuff in the backend, so it helps!

I’m sure that most of the comments aren’t really spoilers, but I went ahead and made em all white anyway just in case.

The basis for this is because fiber optic cables are made-up of conducting light material and for that reason transmit the sunlight from the end
